We bill by the hour, per buddy. Most apartments take two buddies. A house usually takes three or four. You get your exact rate before anything is booked, and the quickest way to see it is our booking page.

We are in Carrollton, about 32 minutes from Grand Prairie, and there is nothing added for getting there. A truck fee only appears on much longer round trips, and you would see it on your quote before you booked, never on the bill afterwards.

A long run from our warehouse, so we plan these as full days rather than squeezing them in after something else.

Most Grand Prairie apartment offices and HOAs do, and it is routine. Tell us the name of the complex and where to send it, and we will have the certificate over to them before your date. Do it when you book rather than the morning of, because leasing offices keep office hours and moving day does not.

All completely normal, and none of it changes your rate. It changes how long the move takes, which is why we ask. Tell us when you book so we send enough buddies.

No. Nothing is held on your card and nothing leaves your account when you book. You pay at the end, once everything is unloaded and where you want it.

Call the office and we will take care of it. There is no cancellation fee and no charge to move your date, because there is no deposit sitting there to argue about.

At the end of the move, once the work is finished. We total it up with you before anything is collected, so you see how the number was reached.

Card or cash. Tell the office if you need to do something different and we will work it out before the day.

Two hour minimum, then to the nearest fifteen minutes at your agreed rate.

The clock starts when your buddies reach your door and stops when the work is done. Driving between your pickup, your drop-off and any extra stops counts. Driving to you from our warehouse does not.

No. Anywhere in the Dallas area the hourly rate is the whole bill. The truck, the fuel, the blankets, the equipment, the stairs however many flights, and the tax are all in it.

The one exception is a move outside the Dallas area, which carries a truck fee, and we tell you what it is before you book.

Because ours has everything in it. A cheaper hourly rate that adds fuel, equipment, stairs, travel and tax at the end is usually the more expensive move. Compare the final bill, not the headline. Ours is the number you actually pay.

Not at all, and nobody will be odd with you about it. If your buddies did well and you want to, most people land around ten to twenty percent of the bill, or twenty to forty dollars a buddy. Card or cash both work. One tip for the team is fine and we split it evenly.

A 26 foot truck for most jobs, loaded with blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, straps, floor runners and door jamb protectors. If your move is small or your access is tight we will send something that actually fits, which is one of the things we work out when you book.

A 26 foot truck comfortably takes a two or three bedroom home. If we think it will be tight we will tell you at quote stage and plan a second trip or a second truck rather than discovering it at four in the afternoon.

If we turn up late we take twenty five dollars an hour off, and you do not have to ask for it or notice it. Your buddies call you about thirty minutes out so you always know where they are.

Clothing can usually stay in a dresser and we will wrap it as is. Empty anything heavy, breakable or liquid, and empty filing cabinets completely, because paper is far heavier than it looks and the drawers are not built to travel full.

Empty and defrost it at least a day ahead, and dry the inside out. A fridge moved with water in it arrives smelling like a fridge moved with water in it.

Passports, medication, jewelry, cash, keys, laptops and anything you would be upset to be without for a day. Not because we expect a problem, just that those things belong in your own car.

Keep them in a closed room with a sign on the door, or better, somewhere else entirely. Doors are propped open for hours on a move and that is how animals get out.

Label the boxes by room and tell your team leader where furniture goes as it comes off the truck. It is easier to put it in the right place once than to move it twice, and it costs you less.

We would rather you did not. It is our insurance, our backs and our problem. Point, direct and make coffee if you like.

We move in it. Floor runners go down, things get wrapped, and we work a little slower for good reason. We only stand down for genuinely dangerous conditions, and if that happens we call you early and move your date for free.

No, insurance will not allow it. Follow us in your own car and you will beat us there anyway.

We make it right instead of quoting the law at you. Break a television and we buy you a new one, up to a thousand dollars, whatever protection you are on.

On the day, tell your team leader or they will tell you. It gets written down there and then.

Basic valuation comes with every move. It pays sixty cents per pound per item. That is a legal standard based on weight, not on what the thing is worth, so it is worth understanding rather than skipping past.

Full Value Protection costs extra. The office will tell you what it covers and what it costs before you decide.

Yes, for moves within Texas. TxDMV 008999997C and USDOT 3394367. You can look both up on the TxDMV Motor Carrier register in about thirty seconds, and we would rather you did.

Call, email or text the office and we send you a form. A short description and a couple of clear photos is enough to start. For some items we will also want a model or serial number so we can price a repair or a replacement properly.

Tell us as soon as you spot it. Photograph it before you move it and get in touch, and we will pick it up from there.

We do not move pool tables or hot tubs, and we do not go into attics.

Tell us first about pianos, gun safes and anything over four hundred pounds. We will give you a straight answer before you book.

We cannot carry gasoline, propane, fireworks, ammunition, perishable food, plants you care about, or anything illegal.

No. Texas only. We will happily take you from Frisco to Houston, Austin or El Paso, but we do not cross the state line.

Yes, and it is in the rate. Beds, table legs, dressers, cribs. If something needs a specialist, like a pool table, that is not us.

We will take it down for you. Putting it back up depends on the mount and the wall, so ask when you book and we will tell you honestly whether we can.

We will unplug and reconnect the simple ones. Anything involving gas, water lines or hard wiring needs a licensed trade, and we would rather say so than wing it.

No, nothing motorised.

Yes. Extra pickups or drop-offs are fine, the travel between them is just part of the moving time. Tell us the addresses when you book so we plan the load properly.

Yes, both. Plenty of people hire us for the heavy part and drive it themselves.

Yes, all of it or just the kitchen, which is the part everybody dreads. Say so when you book so we allow the time and bring the materials.

Yes. Boxes emptied, contents put where you want them, and the empties taken away.

Yes, and we can drop them off before your move so you are not making a hardware store run the night before.

No, we do not crate. What we do is pad. Blankets, shrink wrap and tape on every piece, and mirrors, glass tops and artwork get extra of it.
