Frisco pricing works the same way as the rest of DFW: an hourly rate per mover, a two hour minimum, and a lot of variation in what is included.
At a minimum, ask whether the truck, fuel, blankets, shrink wrap, dollies and floor protection are in the hourly rate or added at the end. Ask about stairs. Ask about tax. These are the four places a cheap rate usually turns into an expensive bill.
There should not be. Frisco sits comfortably inside the normal working radius for most DFW movers, including us — we are about twenty minutes away. Long round trips can attract a truck fee, but you should see it on the quote, never on the bill.
Apartments are usually a half day. Houses usually take most of one. The things that stretch it are stairs, long carries, elevators and a garage nobody mentioned.
The more honest you are about the walk, the floor and the amount in the garage, the closer the quote lands.
Jaren and Phillip were both great through the whole process. Fast, efficient, and friendly. They were totally on board with getting my move done as fast as possible as I had explained previous difficulties with other moving companies in the past taking way longer than they should have and changing me extra because of it. We only went 30 minutes over the estimated time compared to the HOURS with other companies. 10/10 would use and recommend Jaren, Phillip, and Buddy again.
Chase and Justin were great. Considering they had to load stuff from an apartment and a storage unit, to then delicately move heavy furniture, washer, dryer etc. up a flight of stairs to my new place, to then angle that stuff in a way that would fit, they did a great job. Nothing damaged, everything works fine. Chase and Justin were kind and polite throughout the move, even though it took a few hours and in 100 degree heat and sunny.
